Pink Beaches

A beautiful geography feature in The Bahamas is the pink sand beaches, which are created by tiny red coral particles mixed with the white sand and erosion of white and pink shells and skeletons of tiny marine organisms. Harbour Island, which is often referred to as “Briland” by locals, is known for one of the most famous pink sand beaches in the Bahamas. The beach feels almost endless, stretching for over 3 miles and is considered one of the best beaches in the world. The sand at Harbour Island is always cool which is a perfect mix with the warm temperatures. The waters off these pink sand beaches are crystal clear. The pink beaches have the most bright colors at sunrise and sunset because the sun creates a really attractive sight. There are some resorts along these pink beaches that offer guests activities on the beaches such as snorkeling, paddleboarding, and tennis. In conclusion, the pink beaches are absolutely stunning and a site that provides the Bahamas with lots of attraction to tourists.
